Kate Ferdinand has given birth to her first child - her husband Rio's fourth - and life now couldn't be better for the happily married couple. But it hasn't always been roses and sunshine

Their son - whose name has not yet been made public - is the icing on the cake for Kate and Rio, who have faced some rocky times since getting together secretly at the end of 2016.

Back then, Kate was best known for her bikini-clad antics on TOWIE, with her dramatic relationship with co-star Dan Edgar propelling her into the headlines on a weekly basis.

But that all changed when she met footballer Rio through mutual pals, and the pair enjoyed secret dates while trying to keep their blossoming romance out of the spotlight.
