Love Island star Zara Holland is to be prosecuted for allegedly breaking Covid rules on holiday in Barbados.

Island police say the former Miss Great Britain is expected to appear in court on Wednesday, accused of "breaching quarantine"

this came a week after a fellow tourist was jailed for six months for a similar breach

A number of people are calling for Zara and Elliot to be jailed in a new petition posted on Change.org.

Signed by more than 1600 people, it states: "They acted with a level of selfishness and entitlement that beggars belief.

"They undermined the huge amount of work that had been done by the government and people of Barbados to suppress community transmission and the didn't just risk the livelihoods of Bajans, the risked their lives."

And it continued to call for Zara and Elliott to face the strictest sentences: "If one single person dies as a result of their selfish and cowardly actions, then they should be charged with murder.
