Millie Bobby Brown will star in the sci-fi road trip movie The Electric State

Following a heated bidding war, Universal Pictures has landed the rights to an adaptation of the graphic novel The Electric State.

The Stranger Things' and 'Enola Holmes' actress will star in the upcoming The Electric State based on the illustrated novel by Simon Stålenhag. ’Endgame’s Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely will pen the adaptation of Simon Stålenhag’s tale of a girl and her robot in a retro-futuristic America.
