Traore managed to contribute four goals and nine assists in the Premier League last term but his form has taken a hit this season. Nuno Espirito Santo is ‘insisting’ that Traore stays but the attacker is apparently worried that his current form will keep him out of the Spain squad for the European Championship in the summer.

Traore has scored in the FA Cup this season with a superb match-winning goal in Wolves’ victory over Crystal Palace earlier this month.

David Alaba, the Austrian superstar is on course to seal a ‘dream’ move to Real Madrid after apparently agreeing terms with the Spanish giants just this week. But that has come after Liverpool were in the running for the Bayern star, with Romano claiming the Reds did indeed put forward a big offer to land Alaba. Per his Twitter account, the journalist posted the following update on Alaba yesterday. David Alaba’s pre-contract with Real Madrid is ready since the beginning of January and it’s expected to be signed in the next weeks.

Tottenham are unlikely to be busy in the final few days of the January transfer window.

Spurs have not made any moves to bring players into the first team squad, with youngster Jack Clarke leaving the club to go on loan to Stoke City.
